Referring Partner FAQ

You may introduce individuals or businesses who are genuinely interested in our services and have agreed to be contacted. This arrangement is referral-based only and does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship. For each referral that results in a settled loan, you will be paid a referral fee. Referral fees are paid within 14 days of receipt of payment from the lender. You are not authorised to provide advice, pricing, or representations on behalf of the business. All service delivery, advice, and client engagement beyond the introduction is handled by us. Either party may end this referral arrangement at any time. Referrals introduced prior to termination remain eligible for a referral fee if they later result in a settled loan.

Anyone with trusted personal or professional relationships can become a referral partner. This includes accountants, agents, business owners, and individuals who regularly come across people needing finance. You don’t need lending experience to register.

You can submit referrals for a broad range of finance needs, including home loans, refinancing, personal loans, car loans, and business or commercial finance. If you’re unsure whether a referral fits, you can still submit it for review.

Yes. You should only submit details for individuals or businesses who are aware of the referral and have consented to being contacted. This ensures a professional experience and protects both you and the client.

Each referral is personally reviewed by Michael Shea. If the referral is appropriate, the client is contacted directly to discuss their needs. From there, the lending process is managed end-to-end, from initial discussion through to outcome.

Yes. Referrals submitted through the platform are tracked, and you’ll be able to see the status of your referrals once they’ve been reviewed and progressed.

All referrals are handled personally by Michael Shea, a Mortgage Choice broker. There are no call centres, automated outreach, or mass marketing. Each referral is treated individually and professionally.

Eligibility depends on factors such as the client proceeding with a loan and the loan successfully settling. Details are discussed clearly once a referral is reviewed.

No. Registration is free, and there is no obligation to submit a minimum number of referrals.
